Portal 2 Price Drop

Portal 2 on Steam now reflects what seems to be a permanent price drop for the platformer sequel, which now sells for $29.99. Valve also offers a Portal Bundle of Portal and Portal 2 for $34.98. Thanks VG247.

Don't you love the arrogance and smugness of these cunt bags who keep gloating about how they waited and saved a few bucks on a game? You have the gall to say they owe you? I can already see you guys just wafting in the aroma of your own farts. It's the same type of people who refuse to go to the movies on a weekend with friends because it's cheaper to go on Tuesday at noon than Friday night. Get off the fucking high horse because you saved a few dollars.

I hate you all <3

I'll take 4 hours of Portal for $30 versus 20 hours of Average Game. Portal 2 is quite a bit longer than Portal anyway, its a good 10-12 hours at least if you aren't rushing.

Portal 2 is worth about $20 to me. When it hits that price I'll probably buy. I doubt I'll use co-op and it sounds like it has about zero replay value.

Maybe even $20 is a bit high but we'll see.

Seems like an odd metric. There are tons of games you can play for dozens of hours but it doesn't make them any good. I'll take 4 hours of Portal for $30 versus 20 hours of Average Game. Portal 2 is quite a bit longer than Portal anyway, its a good 10-12 hours at least if you aren't rushing.

It's worth more than $10 ya cheap bastids.

Ummm....no.....no it isn't! I paid full price for Portal and finished it in a day or so, they owe me!

It WILL be $10....and that's the price it's worth to me!

We want it for free. Actually, it's not bad to me. I just don't have time. If I could buy free time.

Also check out http://www.thinkingwithportals.com/ for tons of free maps. Especially try the mapping contest winners, some really excellent maps there. Also, these maps are a lot more difficult than the stock Portal 2 maps, which in my opinion were far too easy.

Yeah I loved Portal 2 but the difficulty just wasn't there.

Maybe they will eventually give it away for free for a day like they did with Portal. Still holding out...
Haha, I will be waiting. I just don't have time to play with it. Where can I get/buy free time?

Yeah since its steamworks, there's not much reason to buy it on steam if its not the cheapest.

I'm getting itchy, when does all the DLC come out?

Was wondering the same thing. They said summer, it's been summer long enough, damnit. Bring on more maps! Hopefully co-op is included.
