To the Moon Announced

Freebird Games announces To the Moon, an upcoming indie RPG/adventure game with a very unusual premise: "Imagine a world where doctors can rework your memory in order to grant your greatest wish… but there's just one catch: It will be the last thing you'll ever remember." The game is expected this autumn, and this trailer offers more on what to expect, and here's a bit more:

If you had the chance to relive your life, would you change things? Would you try to achieve some grand goal? Could you find love? Fame? Fortune? Or would you realize that sometimes the past is meant to stay the same. Join Dr. Rosalene and Watts on their journey and travel To The Moon.

It certainly sounds interesting, but all they showed so far were nice pictures, adventures like these however - depend 100% on the writing. So lets hope its done well.

Which brings me to a short rant. The makers of E.V.E Cybermancy deserve a medal, for worst horridly crappy childish stupid writing of dialog in the history of mankind.

Fantasy language = Awesome, game, short but cool

But meh, i am used to bad translations, this is not one... because that would imply an effort has been put into translating meaningful words into meaningful words of another language. But this, this is just.. beyond horrid, its like the makers had the mental level of monkeys and just put random crap into google translate and ran with the results.

Some people compare this game to Deus EX - to those i say, illiteracy test - ASAP.

I was really excited until I saw the JRPG art style.

Ditto. Gadzooks I hate when that happens. Sigh.

I actually enjoyed the music more than the game. That song was awesome!

This sounds a lot like something Charlie Kaufman would write - very similar to Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Interesting concept. I'm pretty sure it isn't an RPG, though. The devs only refer to it as adventure game throughout the trailer.

Would be kind of cool if the graphics were like Alan Wake.
