Don't they make blood-type neutral plasma out of all blood nowadays? So it doesn't really matter WHAT type you are anymore?
As for being CMV negative, yeah, there's few people around like that anymore. It's crazy how many people are "infected" with it. (term used very loosely. 99.9% of all people never experience any kind of symptoms or even realize they have it.)

I was CMV negative when I started donating blood, too. I don't think I was, the last time I went.
The only thing I can infer from this is that donating blood gives you CMV. |
