Humble Indie Bundle #3

The Humble Indie Bundle Website now offers The Humble Indie Bundle #3, the third such collection of independent games (not counting the Humble Frozenbyte Bundle) that allows customers to choose their own price to support indie developers as well as charity. The bundle comprises And Yet It Moves, Cogs, Crayon Physics Deluxe, Hammerfight, and VVVVVV, and as before the charities are the Electronic Frontier Foundation and Child's Play. None of the games contains any form of DRM, and each includes native support for Windows, OS X, and Linux as well as the ability to be installed through Steam and Desura. This trailer shows off the five games from the bundle, which is being offered for the next two weeks.

This actually includes VVVVVV 2.0, which hasn't been available until now.
v2 has:
a complete rewrite of the game to C++, making it run faster and better on Windows, Mac, and, finally, on Linux!
But even more than that: there’s now also a level editor in the game!

It also includes 10 extra levels made by people such as Notch (minecraft creator) using the new level editor.

Nice, another humble bundle! While I love these promotions for giving some indie games the spotlight, no drm, help a good cause, etc. they are devouring all my free time.

I bought the first two, and I'm still playing some of those games.

ps. Cortex Command(from the first humble bundle) shows up as a virus now in Avira Antivir, what's up with that, CC? Anyone else getting that? I assume/hope it is a false positive...

If the Cortex Command guy(s) stay on that, that game will be amazing after a few patches. Right now... it's severely unoptimized

People who bought it directly before got an email today with a download link.

Already got Crayon and Cogs, but I'll chip in for the rest.

Boo on VVVVVV for taking their webpage down during the bundle. Oooh... we don't want to let people know about our game.

I'm guessing it was because their website was basically just there to order the game:

They do link to their forums.

Own them all except for Hammerfight. Might pay a couple bucks just for it, but then I look like a cheap ass trying to get them all.

Worth it for Hammerfight alone.

Not interested in the games but I threw in $2. $1 for developers, $1 for Humble guys. Hopefully they'll offer something better on the next run.
