PC From Dust Delayed

Joystiq reports the Windows edition of From Dust will launch one month later than planned, and the god game is now expected on August 17, just weeks after plans to release the game this week were revealed (the XBLA edition is still expected on Wednesday). No reason for the setback is offered. Thanks Gamer's Hell.

So delay=whiny people=no buy.

A bit too instant gratification oriented aren't we?

Aside, how many years people wait for DNF again?

Or maybe we don't like be treated like 2nd rate citizens. If you're fine with it, bully for you. The rest of us, however, have somewhat higher expectations and demands.

Soo, its a God Game but without a sandbox mode?

Lets hope they use this month to add a sandbox/skirmish mode.

Objective based missions can fuck off.

I believe this is a requirement for being in the "summer of arcade", I thought it was 4 weeks though and this will be 3 weeks. Can't wait to try this.

If that was the case, wouldn't the PS3 version be delayed like the PC version?

I'm still looking forward to it. As long as Ubisoft doesn't fuck it up (DRM), I plan on buying it whenever it comes out.

If all the "shruggies" (the people who are indifferent and apathetic) wouldn't purchase ubisoft games then they would remove the DRM. Trouble is that ubisoft does the math and turns out that they they win financially more with that DRM. Hence why they have it in for now.

To add their DRM of course. Seems like Ubisoft didn't learn anything since they're back with their permanent connection requirement for Driver San Francisco as well. Sigh

What, really? They have gone full retard if the major loss of sales with that drm didnt teach them something.

This game is going to get "Dungeon Defender'ed"

Just like Dungeon Defenders, the develoepr was forced to hold back the PC release (They are still holding it back) because MS threatened to pull their XBLA license if they released the PC version first.

Yeah, count me out.

I'd put money on this. This is likely Microsoft's doing.

Well I was interested in this title. Now that I see it's a console game that's just going to some shitty port they can forget it.
