You guys aren't even arguing the same point.

1) People don't want Real ID
2) People want to play with their friends.

Blizzard has forced people who want 2 to do 1 as well. But people wanting to do 2 doesn't mean they want to do 1. And people not wanting to do 1 doesn't mean they don't want 2.

Yes, people want to play with their friends. No, people generally don't want to use Real ID.
