Can't go anywhere near Westside in New Vegas. Doesn't matter which direction I approach stutter and crash. I did visit earlier in the game so, I can "fast travel" to the pawn shop. However if I try to leave via any of the "gate" exits.... crash. I have to fast travel out. This means I can't get near "The Thorn" and would seem will never be able to. Annoying. |

I had a little time to check it out. I sort of still remember what I was doing when I quit playing. I was knocking out several quests in one trip, but stopped when I ran into one that I couldn't complete. My last save is right in front of one of the people I'm supposed to talk to, but there are still no dialog options for the quest when I speak to him.
It's not an important quest, and there's a fix for it posted at NV Nexus. That's not why I quit playing, it just happened to be at the same time they put the Boone breaking patch out.
Boone still doesn't act right. They fixed him somewhat, at least he doesn't constantly holster his weapon in a fight now, but whenever I go near an enemy that has spotted us but isn't attacking, he takes out his gun, runs circles around me, pointing his gun in my face, grunting and saying "you're mine" over and over.
I had some earlier quests I put off because of bugs. I have a ton of active quests open, so I'll have to get more time to play and see if those have been fixed or not. I wrote notes down, hopefully I can find it after all this time.
I probably won't be playing it until after I finish some other games I started to pass the time until NV got fixed. |

Arms no longer lifted above head when sneaking with certain weapons. Yay!!!!! That annoyed the hell out of me.
That is a nice long list of fixes.
I've had crashes in specific areas (see list) but none with saving. I'm using a number of mods; radio, weapon/armour re-tex, underground hideout, that kind of stuff. Removed some that used NVSE; my version doesn't work with the new .exe.
Oblivion, FO3, and FO:NV all crash on exit for me, still. |

Fix for ED-E combat dialog.
"Beep badoo boooop boop" is now replaced with "beepbeep BEEEEP badaboop." |

Cass now only barks once per gameday and not every two gamehours.
Best patch ever. |

| I haven't fired it up yet, but I was glad to read in another forum that they did in fact fix the weight of the 12.7mm rounds. I figured they were going to wimp out and not fix it because people might cry and throw a fit when they find themselves over encumbered after the patch for carrying thousands of rounds of the stuff. Anyone playing hardcore shouldn't be complaining though. |

| I played quite a lot of FNV back in November/December with nary a problem except the occasional broken quest but when I installed it two weeks ago with the (then) latest update, it crashes every 15 minutes or so, almost always after a quicksave or (more often) while attempting to perform an autosave. And I play with very few mods - essentially the same list I used 7-8 months ago. If you're not experiencing crashes, then that's great news for you, but it doesn't take much time looking at the Bethesda forums to see that this isn't an isolated problem. |

Dammit! I wasn't going to start another New Vegas run until all the DLC was finished/bundled, but all this talk the last few days is NOT HELPING!
Dammit Obsidian! Finish all that DLC.
