Look at Mafia, Hidden & Dangerous, almost the entire catalog from 1C Company. The US lost it's way a long time ago and have no idea how to get back. Maybe the next Duke Nukem game and Aliens from Gearbox will give hope!
When game developers(or their publishers) are publicly owned, awesome projects just don't happen very often. $$$$ comes first, creativity and innovation second. |

| Looks intriguing. I sincerely hope this is an open-ended game that will let me explore the world. Crafting a unique and interesting world seems like such a waste when the gameplay is completely linear and scripted. |

Unfortunately all of you guys are wrong, obviously this is another X-Com game, or perhaps the new re-imagining of Dungeon Keeper. 
I instantly thought Blade Runner also, to be honest. |
