I'm still waiting on a FPS based on Elevator Action! LOL OMG NIN we are so old, I totally LOVED that game! That & Empire City 1932! I discovered Elevator Action a few years ago and I never played it in the 1980s/80s. My friend, a former gamer, told me about it so I played it in MAME. I loved it including its catchy music! Sequels weren't that great though. So I am old too. Who's the oldest in this conversation? I am over 35. |

End result for charities helping veterans: The pentagon has more money to spend creating wounded veterans.
We should demand that larger portion of their budget go towards helping the soldiers. That way they would have less money for wars which create problems for everyone, especially soldiers. I would heartily recommend that you look up how these charities work...
And the idea that the Pentagon wouldn't have money for a war is absurd. There's ALWAYS money for a war.

Then it’s good as long as they are getting the proceeds. It would be better if the money came out of the Pentagon's budget that way there would be less money used creating wounded soldiers and veterans. How about a charitable organization that lobbies government for better care for soldiers and veterans?
Plus I would be willing to bet a large portion will go to pay salaries for the people running the charity. Is bobby on the board? Some charities 90% of the money goes to 2-3 people at the top! |

| A few years back it was plastic guitars and playing songs your parents listened to...what'll be the next new thing that's huge for a few years before it'sunceremoniously run into the ground? The Valhalla-like modern military shooter will officially be horse jerky by this fall's new releases. So...will it be wildlife preserve simulators? First person Peggle? Extreme pennyfarthing stunt battles (Sir Anthony Gyrfalcon's Amusmodrome)? Taking all bets! I also have video poker! |

Yeah, I agree with you there. Kotick's motivations for it aside, it's better that a charity benefit than not. |
