That's taking choice away from all parents and enforcing somebody else's idea of what a good parent must do. My best friend in high school, his mom used to buy him Playboy's when she went to the grocery store. To me that's a pretty enlightened view of sex and an example of healthy parenting. To others it's practically child molestation.
There's no scientific evidence violent video games harm children. There have been rigorous studies to show this. Some people think "Well, it MUST be harmful to them just because." That's an opinion, a preconceived notion, but it's not fact.
Rather than forcing everybody to conform to a certain dubious definition of what a good parent must be, the better option is to leave the matter up to individual parents to decide for themselves.
