Out of the Blue

Somewhere along the way I recently figured out that the murder of crows haunting our backyard from the dead birch tree are not actually crows at all. It turns out they are grackles, which explains why they do not make the racket cawing that the local crows do (and also why they are not as giant as the crows). It still makes for a cool and haunting vista, but it would be cooler if I could still refer to them as a murder. I poked around to see if a flock of grackles has a specific Middle English collective name, but they don't seem to have one, so I'll have to make one up. For now I'll borrow gaggle from geese. Gaggle of grackles has a certain ring.

Been bean free now for 8 months, cold turkey caffine free. (No Caffine tea)
Best decision I ever made, some of the biggest benefits I have found.

Joint pain almost completely gone. (Just come back from a hill run & I never used to run)

If you have a few too many I still wake refreshed & don't think I have suffered a hangover since.

Don't feel heavy in the mornings, more refreshed at the days start.

Have'nt felt the cold as much this winter.

I did drink way too much of the stuff & it took a good 3-6 months to get past the fleeting troughs of depression but well worth it.

Googled grackles and they do look spooky. One of the pictures reminded me of the movie The Birds. That movie scared the shit out of me as a kid. I still remember the lady that had her eye pecked out. Yesh!
