I did a run about 25 feet long through a wall and up a floor. People have done much longer runs of course but that's usually done with HDMI over Ethernet. Now you've got me interested... how do you handle the mouse and keyboard? Do you run USB extension cables and an extra kb&m by the TV?
Seems like using a home theater PC might be easier... I actually have one that I use for video, but it's not powerful enough for serious gaming.
I only have a 32" TV, so it may not even be worth playing games on it. Dunno why I didn't spring for a bigger TV but on the plus side, upscaled DVDs aren't as noticeably blocky as they probably would be on a bigger screen.
GFWL has never caused me any real problems (I have had issues restoring savegames, but I eventually figured it out), so I am not going to let that stop me from buying the sequel to one of my favorite games of the past few years.
