I grew up going to school once in a while - so I separate ideas with a new paragraph. I hate those run on paragraphs and usually will skip them anyway.

Ok
You're right
This is totally reasonable.
My bad.
Other people don't do it literally 4-5 times for the most part, it just takes up unnecessary space and looks like attention whoring to be blunt.

I always wonder why you call me out on this but never the others that have done it in this very thread. I separate thoughts with spaces. Simply hitting enter once is not enough because it often looks like the same paragraph. The multiples are for very separate thoughts or, alternatively, edits.

So driving 300 miles didn't really save you any money did it?......
Those are the breaks. I consider my time precious and would rather not waste it driving around.
However I'm lucky, I work maybe 1 mile away from a BestBuy which is usually well stocked. So I can pick something up during lunch or after work without an issue.
For other places, I try to batch things together like bundle errands together so I only have to make 1 trip to some place 10-15 miles out.
I tend to use the BestBuy (or something similar) if:
- The item is large
- The item has a high chance of return
- I want something now instead of a few days
- The price difference isn't that much lower than Amazon/NewEgg/etc

xXBatmanXx wrote on Jun 7, 2011, 23:14:No, I still saved money, since I'm in that area once a week anyway. The initial purchase I made while I was in town, and the 3rd trip was again on the day I'm in the area. The only extra trip I made was to return the initial purchase, and back then it only cost about $4 round trip in fuel.

I always buy from Newegg, but some sort of brief price guarantee would be nice. I do try to buy monitors from a brick & mortar, to avoid dead pixel return issues. I did grab a tv from the egg recently, though, and no problems.

Never heard of that program, but I was interested. Unfortunately, I could not find a download location that my Web of Trust plugin didn't flag as untrustworthy.

I love Newegg. Just bought two HDMI cables from there for 4 dollars a piece, free shipping, and they got here in two days.
http://www.monoprice.com for cables!
NewEgg for everything else.
I always use http://mycablemart.com/ a local place here in MN, can't beat their prices and shipping rates.
I decided to check, and the first cable I went for with same length, same gauge was cheaper at MonoPrice

Allo Bleu! Neverwinter has finally gone live - the site that is...E3 vid, screenshots, forums, etc.

Looking good so far. Has me stoked. Really looking forward to seeing the Foundry for Neverwinter in action.
Actually no. I was opposed to DDO because of the Eberon setting and real-time combat, more hack and slash nature. In spite of that, it actually turned out to be pretty damn fun. We already know what to expect with Neverwinter. Now, if Cryptic can deliver - and in this particular case I think they can.
The last time you were this stoked for something, it was for Dungeons and Dragons Online. :p
