Futuremark Teases Three Games

A new teaser trailer from Futuremark Games Studio teases three upcoming unannounced games. From the looks of things, one is a stylized space defense game, another a casual-looking microscopic critter game, and the third a space combat game that looks pretty high-end. Presumably further details will follow soon enough. Here's the embedded version.

And hopefully its actual games and not just clips from game sequences in a new 3dmark test suite.

We've got some Newtonian physics sims--now I want a space sim that's true to special relativity. I want to see length contraction and time dilation in effect. They just need to rescale it so a reasonable relative velocity of a couple thousand m/s is ~the speed of light, and go from there. It'd be awesome, I tell ya!

I agree that it's hard to watch that video and not wonder why we don't see more of these.

However, I'm 90% certain there will be a huge announcement at E3.

Hmm, so there is X Rebirth, the slow progressing Infinity and the probably dead Naumachia.
Well, at least one game will be released. (hopefully in this year)
Cannot hurt to get even more of them although I think that the new X will be more than enough for me, thank you very much.

The space sim genre does certainly need a revival. However, to me, it looked like a twitchy space shooter. No thanks, I'll pass.

I don't understand why space sims aren't 100000% more popular. Flying around in spaceships blowing shit up is like penultimate cool.

That space sim looked incredible. What are the chances its going to be a dumbed down arcade shooter though...

That space sim looked sweet, now if only they can get the 'Derek Smart' to be the game designer - it would be space-nerdvana!!

SO down for that space sim. I'd die for a worthy successor to Freespace. PLEASE have a good SP campaign and campaign co-op.

Yea, we need some better space sim/fight games.
Munching On: Warframe, Final Fantasy 6, Tales of Xallia, Saints Row 4.

It looks like it is multiplayer going by the "Foo killed Bar" message. I like the localised damage to the large ship, with specific explosions for the tank hatch things that were hit.
