Mass Effect Digital Comic

The Mass Effect Downloadable Content Page offers the semi-recent release of the Windows and Xbox 360 editions of Mass Effect: Genesis, an interactive digital comic from BioWare and Dark Horse comics originally created for PS3 users, since the original Mass Effect was never released on that platform. The 15 minute comic allows the player to make the key decisions from Mass Effect that carry over into Mass Effect 2. Thanks Andrew.

Hmmmm, charging for this is ridiculous, but on the other hand, if I want to re-roll a Shepard without playing through the first game all over again...

...I'll just go here. And then I'll go here. Then, I'll open Windows Explorer so I can change Shepard's first name just for the sake of completeness.

Srsly Bioware, I love you guys, and I'm the first one to trip over myself rushing for my wallet when you release new plot content in DLC form.

Buying this, however, would make me feel like I'm putting in five bucks for Conrad Verner's fake N7 armor.

Just wow. I'm usually not too harsh about DLC but this is fairly ridiculous.

Bioware, EA and anyone else involved should really be ashamed. This kind of pettiness is how you piss off your customers. As a huge Bioware fan from the beginning the turn the company has taken recently is very sad.

Sigh.

I only have 80 points on my BW account... I don't want to pay for an interactive PDF or flash or whatever.

When CD Projekt gives all DLC for *FREE* for the Witcher 2, E.A. makes people pay for this !

I was like "hey, cool. I'd like to check that out. Should be fun."

320 points.

FUCK YOU, EA.

And of course it costs money. I mean points, because you buy points, but points aren't real money so you shouldn't think twice about using them to purchase obtain any half-baked idea they offer.
