I would like to see a Total War game set in the Terminator post apocalypse world. Now THAT would be kick cunt ass. yeah that would be great..we can dream
or even a "company of heroes: terminator" How about MMOGs of Aliens, Predators, Humans, and maybe Terminators? |

I was always dreaming about TW fantasy kind of game and King Arthur actually happened. Not exactly the same but close enough from strategy point of view and absolutely great from RPG elements/story point of view.
"company of heroes: terminator" that would be awesome |

| This seems... odd. Why would SEGA give such an important franchise to a PC-centric RTS developer with a relatively lackluster console record? |

| There are two "Creative Assemblies" one in Horsham, England and one in Brisbane, Australia. This dates from before the SEGA acquisition when they had the Brisbane studio working on Medieval 2 and other titles. The Horsham based 'console' team are responsible for Viking (which was IMHO, a good game) and the Brisbane studio were responsible for Stormrise which, unfortunately, was not so good. They are very separate teams. From the news report, it's pretty clear that the Alien game is going to be developed by an expanded Horsham based console team. I've no idea what the Brisbane studio are working on but I'm sure they'll have learned from some of the mistakes in Stormrise (it's a pity that had some problems because a console RTS is a pretty novel and unusual beast) |

Actually I kind of liked Viking too, although it was hardly great. It did get kind of monotonous once you learned the one specific dodge/kill move that worked in every single fight no matter the enemy.
The large-scale battles were nice, though. |

Believe it or not but I found Viking: Battle for Asgard quite a good game and finished it as well. Must admit I've been surprised myself!
I think it was one of those moments when you want just something "different". I must admit largish scale battles were cool
As for this Alien strategy game I hoped it will be some kind of TW clone in the future (bit like King Arthur is based on fantasy) but if it's for consoles that's not very likely to be the case. |

| Most local govs subsidy construction of company buildings to "drag" the jobs in their area, which makes if often cheaper (after taxes) to build a new facility than renting an already built one. |
