| Finally copyright will serve an artist, not just a giant corporation. They absolutely needed to get a license to use that under current laws. It is almost impossible to legally make music with samples of other songs in it so why should a movie get away with that? Of course if the laws were sane then a credit to the original artist should be enough as long as the new work adds something significant of its own. |
