My son just got hired at Wal Mart and they needed to see the BC. I find that hard to believe, as I've never even seen mine. I recall vividly having to bring mine in when I was being hired as a teen-ager at the various stores I worked.
I imagine it had something to do with proving I was really 16-or-older, personally I would've started working @ 15 if I had the chance.
I don't recall if I needed it for this job, I did all of my entrance stuff 10 years ago (but I've only been a full-timer for the last 5).
But I would imagine it would help prove identity since big corporations have to worry espionage and stuff. As a way to kick off the identity check.

Regardless, we'd all seen Obamas years ago. We saw the short form. Now we see the long form. There's no fundamental difference. The problem is people are too stupid to understand that the difference between "birth certificate" and "certificate of live birth" is just semantics. Some states use one. Some states use the other.
Arguing that Obama didn't show us one because he showed us the other is no better than arguing that you ordered a soda and instead got served a pop. |

My son just got hired at Wal Mart and they needed to see the BC. It is a constitution issue, so it is a big deal to some. He got the lamer to show it, move on. Your son is a lamer?

| Why did you lose respect for Trump over that? My son just got hired at Wal Mart and they needed to see the BC. It is a constitution issue, so it is a big deal to some. He got the lamer to show it, move on. As far as Bin Laden is concerned there was no reason to dump that body that soon. I want to talk to the SEALs, they are more trust worthy unlike this liar we have in office. Yes, if you really look without bias, you can catch him in many lies. Now to get back on topic. Blues, this stuff as been going on long before 9/11, that much is certain. I also think terror will not go away because of this. |

I have to admit, using Obama and Osama in the same sentence or paragraph I sometimes have to give a slight pause to make sure I'm not just about to mess up. I screw up names/phrases all the time that have a lot more differences than 1-character.
That being said, you'd think the news would be a bit more strict about this. |

I'm not saying I had a lot of respect for Trump in the first place, but the whole "birth certificate" thing was just a waste.
I can understand rich or eccentric people doing or saying something silly to bring a broader issue to the public's mind but this wasn't even that kind of event.
Meanwhile HOW much airtime did this whole thing get? I didn't want to hear anything about it and would change the channel when it got mentioned yet it was on the news a bunch.
The only thing I liked was John Stewart's reaction to the the news networks claiming they were happy this non-issue is now closed. Meanwhile it was the PRESS that turned it into the publicized issue; they could've ignored Trump and discussed things of import.

The body was later taken to an American warship, but the senior Pentagon official declined to say which one and where the ship was situated.
The body was photographed before being buried at sea, although no images have been released by the Obama administration. Put on your tinfoil hats.....this "news" might be just what Obama needs to jumpstart his re-election.
Story link Actually I put on my tinfoil hat because of you suggesting that it's a hoax by the president's re-election team. |

| It's good that the Navy Seals got him. He had to pay for what he was responsible for. But it's not likely that it'll have an impact on future terrorism. Bin Laden had become an icon, he hasn't been involved directly in planning new terror acts for the last few years, most likely he even didn't know the actual top terrorists of Al Quaeda of these days. Nevertheless: GOOD RIDDANCE. |

Sadly it won't change a thing so long as US foreign policy remains as it is. In fact his death will probably bolster the ranks somewhat. And while I have no qualms about him getting killed or the rest of his ilk getting the same treatment, I do think its pretty tasteless and classless the way some Americans are out dancing in the streets singing and chanting. Funny how they seem to complain about it when some of the muslims do it over there. All the histrionics and jingoism that surrounds this sort of stuff just makes me want to puke. Come on...stay classy San Diego. |
