Defiantly a douchebag for saying something so reprehensible, considering the fact that Manning is being tortured.

I was even willing to cut him some slack, since the political environment is so bad, no matter what he says, he'll be attacked. But the issue is you need to be on the side of Human Rights, since we in the US are considered leaders in the area of International Law.

If he had been on the right side, who cares what the political hacks say on fakenews. Torture or not to torture is an easily identifiable issue, since the masses don't need to be educated to understand why it's wrong to torture people. Hell, he could of even used the cover of religion to show why it's wrong to torture.
