I think you're assuming too much. Based on Bioware's previous implementations of choice and consequence, the Rachni Queen will probably just send you an e-mail in ME3 if you let her live.
Well, to be (perhaps overly) optimistic, Bioware has said since ME2 was being developed that ME3 is where the choices led to drastically different stories, since they didn't have to continue the story any more past the 3rd game.
If you have 5 major options in the first game that lead to 5 major story branches in the second, that's 125 plot variations that you have to account for in the third. That's a fuck of a lot of game programming to do.
But we'll see. I'm skipping Dragon Age 2 until it hits bargain bins, and I've given up on Knights of the Old Republic (and anything else Bioware releases) due to the authentication crap, so ME3 is the last dance with Bioware I am going to take. |
