As I predicted in the last thread, its not going to be even a day early. At the moment its 4 hours early with 5 games completed. My prediction of slightly earlier Tuesday morning is still on track, and all those estimated pages are still incorrectly calling it monday.

They have never released at midnight on release day, and the gripe was always that I could go to Walmart and get it 12+ hours before everyone else.....maybe this will change that? Who knows.
I don't care either way. I still don't understand the bitching.
I just wish they would release at midnight like retail does. Remember, valve PC games dating back to HL2 have always been locked by steam before official release date and time. So yeah, people could go and get them early (sometimes days early) at walmart or best buy, but they would get home and install and find out they can't be played until it was officially unlocked by steam. And valve has never unlocked it exactly at midnight, its usually been early morning, minimum of several hours after midnight on the east coast. |
