I've always wanted open multiplayer for the game myself where you'd remove the story from the game and just opened up all the areas and let folks open a server and given admin rights to use NPCs as they see fit, talk 'through' them, etc. That way we could have persistent servers with their own Story Teller (the World of Darkness equivalent to a GM) with a few dozen players just making up their own games.

Back in the day of Vampire: Redemption I was heavily involved with a persistent server with open roleplay and combat. It was really fun and also quite chaotic until a prince was chosen to run things (basically the Sabbat was killing indiscriminately). That game had a good ST system as well so you could set up your own stories or custom events.

So something like that in the fantastic world of Vampire: Bloodlines on a persistent server would rock.

Are you following the development of the MMO?
