PC Super Street Fighter IV Speculation

Capcom's Yoshinori Ono tweets responds to a question about PC Super Street Fighter IV that indicates that when the embargo mentioned in the story above expires tomorrow, we may finally learn the status of the PC edition of the fighting sequel. In January Capcom's Christian Svensson expressed hopes that this would still happen, and now here's what Ono-san tweets: "I cant twit about it topic... Plz wait until 12th Apr. 8am PST. ;) RT @IceBreakker:When will we have SSFIV for PC?" In case this doesn't dispel any remaining doubts, Joao points out that the Super Street Fighter IV ESRB Listing includes a PC version.

I bought an XBox 360 JUST to play this game when it came out.

Personally, I've always done better controlling fighting games with a keyboard than I have a console controller (or even an arcade stick), so this is good news for me.

Fighting games on PC's are like FPS's on consoles.

They do not belong.

Welcome to the year 2011, a time of joy when you can build a fight stick for about 50 bucks worth of components or buy a pre-made wireless one for about 70, and connect your PC to a 50 inch TV using a cable that you can get off Ebay for less than it'll cost to have it shipped to you.

Hint: Anything that can be plugged into a 360 for use in controlling games can be plugged into a Windows 7 PC and it'll magically work, anything *wireless* for the 360 only needs a 20 dollar dongle and it'll work on a PC.

Seriously, sometimes "X does not belong in Y" comments are warranted, this simply isn't one of those times.

I've been waiting for super or the new arcade edition to come out on PC. If Capcom has finally decided to give me what I want I'll throw some money their way.

Sure they do, you only have to look at the huge emulator fighting game scene. Besides, we may get the AE edition, which the consoles are only getting now as well.

As a fighting game lover, I approve this.

It was released on the consoles nearly a year ago. While I'm not going to complain if the PC finally got it, would anyone really buy it at this point?
