DiRT 3 Hundred Dollars

GameStop now lists a DiRT 3 bundle that carries a $299.99 list price. Normally charging that for a game would involve a gun, but in this case it is because the rally racing sequel is being bundled with a Ken Block Gymkhana remote control car. They don't list a PC edition of this bundle, but they don't have a listing for the PC edition of the unbundled game either. Thanks VG247 via Examiner.

not a bad deal if you're into R/C cars -- it's like you're getting the game free since the Traxxas is well below msrp although I have seen a few on amazon for $305.

But it's a Traxxas, which is one of the higher end hobbiest RC cars. So it's quite possible they'll sell them out.

I knew buying all those RC Magazines as a kid would pay off some day. Look ma' I r smart!

LOL, looking at the website that little thing will do 50mph if you put a few upgrades in it, 30mph stock.

I used race offroad RC's years and years ago and boy did I SUCK at it. I think I broke something on every race, I remember those little turn marshalls were ducking all the time when my car would come flying over the corner. Oh good times.

Who the fuck would pay $300 for a game and RC car?

If it where a standard run of the mill piece of crap RC car, I couldn't see it.

People associate rarity with value even in cases where it isn't appropriate.

Black Ops also had the RC car version for $250, it was pretty much sold out everywhere, when the game came out. Some peeps were selling those for $500 on ebay. I bet you there are more then enough people buy these.

Yikes. They'd probably sell more if it was an official DiRT steering wheel and pedal set.
