The ugly face on Deviant Art is even more annoying - it jacks up writing notes and comments/journals. And then we have slashdots stupid "day of choose your own faux news" i am not even sure there was a single news item today on slashdot that was not fake.
I think geeks are simply never funny - even xkcd has managed to make reading the comic annoying (albeit extremely geeky) (it nearly froze the browser, teaches me to use tabbed browsing ~.~)
Huh, is that a sign of getting old? There just wasn't much funny today. |

This is the first year that I think Google's April Fools is just not funny at all. Using motions to communicate is supposed to be funny? Have they never heard of sign language?

| Sure most of them are dumb, but I think it's usually worth it for the few gems. (Could be said about most things in life I guess.) Blizzard has done a fine job this year - that StarCraft video wins on multiple levels. |

I think Blizzard wins, so far...
side note: Last year, Blue did some post on 3d at some point (can't find it now), and actually made the post with alternating red/blue letters. I emailed him and told him this would make a great april fool's day gag for the site (an entire day of posts like that, to make people blind), but I'm guessing it would have required a TON of work (each news article would have to be manipulated), and the reward would have been pissing most people here off.
