VG247 reports on changes in the Ubisoft DRM for the upcoming Windows version of their stealth/action sequel, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. Though the game will still require an internet authentication on startup to play, it will not require a constant internet connection while playing the single-player campaign, which will prevent some of the save game issues caused by previous versions of the DRM. A Ubisoft representative told them this: "The PC version of Assassinís Creed Brotherhood, after an initial login, will be playable offline in single player mode." Thanks Joao.
