Quote of the Day

"Yes. Absolutely. Thereís no other word for it except evil. Of course you can debate anything, but the general definition of evil in the real world, where there isnít like the villain in the mountain fortress, is selfishness to the detriment of others or to the detriment of the world. And thatís exactly what [most of these games are]." Jonathan Blow on social games. Thanks Mike Martinez.

No shortage of evil people in this world then, because I see that shit fucking everywhere.

Agreed. If you define it this way, there is no shortage of evil people in this world. In a system driven by greed how can it be any other way?

"Yes. Absolutely. Thereís no other word for it except evil.

there are plenty of other words, but not many of them are quite so loaded and emotionally charged as "evil", not to mention morally biased and even prone to religious undertones

its the same style of rhetoric used by the likes of glen beck - i.e. sensationalistic and absolutist

rhetoric such as this is akin to so-called political "discourse" in that its mostly just a game of who can stamp their feet louder, who can build a better soapbox - because thats how you secure "popular opinion"

Go forth, and kill!
