The argument that copying doesn't cost anything is irrelevant. Absolutely and completely... irrelevant. (If you don't know what "irrelevant" means, Google it.) It's irrelevant for 2 reasons...

1.) Unauthorized copying of games is illegal. It doesn't matter what your ethical point of view is or how perfectly you can "prove" (in your own fucked up world) that it doesn't "cost" anything to anyone. The law trumps any bullshit you spew from your mouth. It's illegal. Period. You're not fucking allowed to do it, asshole. If you do, you should go to JAIL and get your faggot ass raped.

2.) Game developers are in charge. And here's where it matters if you're a PC gamer or not. PC games are the undeniable leader in piracy. PC game developers know this. Now pay close attention, morons... read this slowly if you need to and I'll try to use small words that you can handle... PC game developers are going to IGNORE any philosophy, reasoning, justification, or ass-backwards argument you make that promotes piracy or attempts to make it appear that piracy costs nothing.

In other words, if PC developers decide that the piracy is costing them too much, they'll stop making PC games. Period. Your words mean NOTHING to them. If you pirate games, you are no longer a customer... you're a criminal. (Refer to reason #1 above if that's confusing for you.)

It's that simple. They don't care about your personal views on the differences (or similarities) between physical private property and intellectual property. THEY choose. THEY decide. THEY are not obligated to listen to your fucking bullshit.

Even if you post the most epic forum comment, or a 1000 page white paper on how piracy doesn't really hurt the developer, it won't make one iota of difference to the developer. They're not going to look at your retarded rantings and say, "Oh golly gee... okay. You're right. We'll just keep making games that cost us 1 million to make, but only generate $100,000 in revenue because the other $900,000 worth was downloaded from a torrent. Yeah, that makes perfect sense. Who are we to argue with you?"

Yeah right. That's not gonna happen. Scream all you like, post all you want, but get a fucking clue, morons. The developers are NOT listening.
