Duke Nukem Forever Vegas Event

Gearbox Software announces they are holding a Duke Nukem Forever event in Las Vegas on Monday, and they are extending an invitation to those of legal age to join them: "So, if you'll be in the Las Vegas area on Monday, February 7, are 21 years of age or older, and want to spend some time playing with Duke and Duke Nukem Forever, let him know by filling out the form below. Each and every note will be reviewed by one of Duke's lovely ladies and the hand-picked best-of-the-best will be invited to party at his side." Thanks Big Download.

Why the hell is this game still called Duke Nukem Forever? Just admit that it's not the same game that was announced a million years ago and expected to run on 3DFX cards. Say "we scrapped that one," but we have a new one called Duke Nukem Strikes Back or something less lame. Putting out a game with a title that is legendarily vaporware is just bad business. And does anyone even care about a Duke Nukem game? Consoles have come and gone since he was in a major release.

I'd like to go Forever without hearing about this game again. It's going to be one of the greatest jokes in the history of gaming when this game is a total pile of shit when it's released. It will be like Daikatana x10.
