No horse combat, clunky controls, chaotic fighting. Game is average at best.
Play the demo or you will be sorry. |

Yea, which is to bad. Games almost ALWAYS look, feel, and play better on the PC. I never understood giving the same score.
Also, I know TW1 gets lots of bad rap, but it needs to be looked at like an updated Diablo clone. The game is really well done. I am still enjoying it and hope to finish it before TW2 shows up in the mail next week. |

So which date is right?
(EDIT: I mean the PC version, not the consoles) Who knows, the release date crap has been screwed from the start on this game. Delayed for months literally just to find a better release window, but then delayed again and again for short periods afterward. I think Southpeak is run by monkeys. |

Or they played the console version which is really bad again with frame rates and synchronization in videos, etc. Pretty much every game of this type, made for the PC and shoehorned onto consoles, gets reviewed for the Xbox 360 and blasted for technical issues. They apply that score to the PC version too, and never even mention that stuff might be different.
Risen is a great example... Eurogamer got so much flack for it that they gave in and reviewed it for the PC later, giving it a 7 instead of the 4 the Xbox version got. |

Well i found the game (in german) hilarious and mind bending awesome. The jokes are ON, perfectly executed, the quests are sometimes absolutely unique
Theres problems of course (balance is way way off in later parts of the game) Mages particularly will have a hard time. Overall i'd give it 80% or something about, i got till chapter 3 so far (its a big game and i do most if not all quests) |
