Out of the Blue

We got dumped with more snow here in the greater New York area as a classic nor'easter worked its way through the region. Things are pretty buried out there again, but MrsBlue is working from home, so I'm putting off digging us out for the time being. This shouldn't be a problem, as it doesn't look like anyone is going anywhere out there anyway.

Here up Upstate NY (Ithaca area) we got a good five inches which means in the hills nearby they probably have a foot at least. It's by far the most snow so far in the season here.

Man, you just made me homesick.

Grew up in the Southern Tier/Finger Lakes region.

(School in the North Country, but don't miss that one bit! Brr!)

A severe lack of snow here. I'm disappointed. I was hoping for a huge snow and maybe a snow day...

Here in my section of NJ we only got about 5 or 6 inches; a far cry of the 7-12 they were originally predicting between Tuesday night + Wednesday morning (since my town usually gets the high-end of the scale).

So, no snow day for me.

Oh well, I'm still working from home. Though instead of benefitting from a delayed opening (10AM) that everyone else enjoyed I had to log on at the normal time to attend meetings.
