They will easily lose 30%, probably 40% of their sales. Most gamers realize 90% of games are made with DirectX9 compatibility, each time this happened it's been a huge lose for sales. First time I remember was Bioshock, they wouldn't spend 10 or 20 man hours to make a Shader 2.0 driver library. According to Steam numbers att, 40% of gamers couldn't run Bioshock. Sure they sold a million or two, but they lost 400k to 800k sales or units. Those are huge numbers and it makes them stupid.
The funny thing about people attacking WinXP, same thing happened with vista, it was the same people too.
You know what both vista and win 7 have in common besides DirectX10 as a base? They are both made with BACKDOORs as part of the foundation, for government access, monitoring and tapping. Both were made post 911 and there was a reason 100s of thousands of Backdoor keys were passed out/sold to government agencies foreign and domestic.
The government here in the US during 2002 to 2008 (years these were developed) forced special government access built into vista and win 7.
As far as the so called trash of DX9, why don't they release the libraries then if true and they are so worthless? It's becasue with all the brilliant people in the world someone would easily make them work together.
Advocating win 7 only is the same argument as trying to say the PC is dead and consoles are king. It only helps m$ manipulate the public, with false information to help their sales.

Marcus: ... Bullies. Tiny d*ck egotists who hurt people for no reason, make people lock their doors at night. People who make general existence worse, people like you.
