Why bother even using the start menu? Just type whatever you want in that miraculous search bar and presto, done.

Also, you do realize that you can turn that left side OFF, right? I use it every now and then when I use an app that requires me to close it a lot. In that case, it's somewhat convenient to just have the icon there. In all other instances, I just use the search bar or my pinned icons on my task bar. :-shrug-:

How do you do that? I know you can empty out the recently used programs and pinned programs from there to make it all empty but I did not realize you can actually turn it all off.
