No dice here for me
Any game in this type of genre that is also made for a console will suck and not have the depth I am looking for

I'd definitely be up for a Temple of Elemental Evil remake, or something involving Iuz, or starting with White Plume Mountain, or...
Yeah, I'm a Greyhawk fanboi, I bluntly admit it. |

Wtf is with Forgotten Realms? Wtf is wrong with the standard Greyhawk world? Wtf is going on in the heads of business minded developers? This is retarded.
Ugh... fuck you, Atari. No seriously, fuck you. Your license runs out soon and we'll all be better off for it. |

| Campaign setting aside, this looks really consoley and action-oriented (aka shitty). Sadly, I don't see how this could compare to the depth of any of the classic D&D games of the past from Bioware and Black Isle, or even Dragon Age. I'd love to be wrong though. |

Forgotten Realms is the best campaign setting for D&D.
Forgotten Realms WAS the best campaign setting for D&D...until they took a giant diarrhea shit all over it and fast forwarded everything 100 years. I can't even stand reading the books anymore, and up to that date I had religiously read every single one of them.
Zhentarim, raiding the Dalelands. Sounds like it might be set in the prior time periods. |

Bleh. No more Forgotten Realms, please. How about some more Planescape? Dark Sun? Eberron? I'd mention Gamma World too but the post-apocalyptic sci-fi setting is already taken. Anything is more interesting than the bog-standard Forgotten Realms setting, though.
And please... no more skeletons. Skeletons, rats and spiders should be banned from all forthcoming RPGs, unless the game does something interesting with them ala Planescape: Torment. |

Yawn at D&D. You against the evil wizard/dragon... fucking please.... Why is this a D&D comment and not almost every fantasy game ever made?
