This reminds me of a thing i saw recently about the BBB (better business bureau) .. apparently the california office was accrediting companies only when they would pay for membership, and grading them poorly if they didnt.. some dude set up a trick on them, he registered a corp named "Hamas" with a fake address and listed the companies head as the name of the guy who ran the cali branch of the BBB, and they still approved it, gave it an A rating... also he registered some white power website, with the company head named "aryan whitey" and paid their fee and they gave them an A rating too
it was all no questions asked, and it basically looked like a racket... especially when they refused to give A grades to corps that didnt pay for membership |

On a serious note, why aren't more people pissed that Apple is such a Nazi when it comes to what you can put on your computer/phone/mp3 player/ etc.? Yeah, the walled garden approach is a pisser, but the problem here is that Apple is effectively saying it approves of gay-bashing by allowing this through while not allowing contrary ideology.
In reality, it points out that Apple doesn't pay the least bit of f*cking attention to the apps it approves/disapproves, and lets crap like this get through. |
