I find it really amusing people paid $10 more for the DDE and the DLC itself is sold for $5 later on. Oh wait, you got a mp3 soundtrack too, toot toot |

The steam game updated with the new civ which is more than a little pathetic considering you can't use it in MP...every single god damn player has the civ now...but it's not available in MP...maybe that's additional DLC. $5 for SP civ and $5 for MP civ.
Fucking DRM. This should explain what's up with your D2D pre-order bonus -
So You Pre-Ordered Civilization V Huh? |

I don't know how to feel about Civ V. On the one hand, I rarely get a real urge to play (I'm more compelled to fire up Minecraft these days), but on the other hand, when I do play Civ V, it's never anythign less than a 6 hour marathon that I can't tear myself away from.
That, and when I launch Civ V I sorely miss hearing "Baba Yetu" |

Am I the only one to think the game feels unfinished as it is? civ4 felt much more complete as far as the modern era was concerned.. television rock n'roll internet. and culture made more sense. you could steal land from neighbours just out of influence. I thought that was a pretty neat idea. Also the UN was much more interesting. To be honest, those dlcs sound like a rip off. You can steal land from neighbours using culture bombs from great artists. Of course, the difference is that the AI will (rightfully) view that as an aggressive action and may declare war.
I agree that Civ IV seemed to have better wonders and a more interesting tech tree.
Otherwise though, I really like Civ V. |

| $5 for a civilization seems a bit steep to me. $2.50 sure, maybe even up to ~$4 if they included a map. |
