Ok decided to get a little testing in before work and the 'hacked' DLL fixed my issues almost 100% completely! My frame rates in all situations are up significantly (looks like this is a CPU intensive game after all lol) and previous issues related to fps such as lag during conversations, etc, is also fixed by this.
Now my only issue is no matter how high or low I set my graphics I still have a tiny stutter whenever I look in one specific direction (which to me sounds like a code issue). But considering that the game was neigh unplayable until I dropped that sweet DLL file in the games install folder, I don't really give a crap lol.
Thanks for the fix. I can finally play the game. In the end it is a pretty fun game, despite it's issues. Once Nvidia releases some drivers optimized for the game, I'm sure it'll run smooth as silk. |
