We were in the supermarket over the weekend, and spotted these Doritos 1st Degree Burn Blazin' Jalapeno Flavored Tortilla Chips on the shelf, which tempted us, in spite of a general Doritos aversion. I picked up two bags, since there was a sale on them in pairs, but MrsBlue pointed out I missed the 2nd Degree Burn Fiery Buffalo chips, so I swapped one for one of those. When we tried some of the Jalapeno-flavored chips we were flabbergasted by just how hot they were, especially in light of how mild so many so-called hot chips turn out to be. In fact, I exaggerate by saying we tried "some" of them, as I stopped after one. At this point, we're dubious about actually finishing our bag of 1st degree burn chips, much less the 2nd degree burn chips; but at least we avoided the 3rd Degree Burn Scorchin' Habanero, the use of which might actually require medical attention. Maybe I can use them to melt snow on the sidewalk this winter.
