Time for a new monitor -

Well, I currently have the previously highly coveted Samsung 226BW with the best panel....well, these past couple of weeks it has been turning on, then losing signal (having a hard time coming out of sleep mode). SO I have to turn it off and on numerous times before it stays on.

I figured I would strike early and get one ordered before it craps out.

I did a lot of research before I bought this one, so I plan on doing a lot more for a new one.

I am looking for suggestions.
The best suggestion is one of someone who actually has what they are suggesting.

(looking at NewEgg it looks like Asus is leading the way?)

/edit: It will primarily be used for gaming.
