Don't think I'll be getting it unless they want to go back and fix Far Cry 2. I think Far cry 2 is a great game if a little monotonous, but I bought this game at full price and after going back and playing through it recently it crashes every 30 mins or so and looking around on the net I'm not even close to the only person with this problem, it happens to people with a variety of hardware including ATI and Nvidia GPU's but here are the specs I was playing it with. I have no issues whatsoever in any of the 14 or so other games that are installed on this computer. Even after playing for hours on end. The processor is the only thing that is overclocked and this PC case with the additional fans has plenty! of cooling. No one who has had these problems has found a fix that I've found. The game itself seems to have a memory leak. The game uses more and more memory until it gets up to about 1.5 GB of ram then it crashes to desktop with no error. In short if you release your game before a proper QA process, and then don't go back and fix it you don't deserve my gaming dollars PERIOD! Interestingly the pirated versions of the game don't seem to have this problem so it may have something to do with the DRM applied to the game executable....
