I dunno. I enjoyed stacks, truth be told. Sure, they're less strategic, but they're easier to manage. It wasn't about how you fought but what you fought with and the numbers you used.

This gives the game more depth, sure, but is it depth at the expense of fun? I know people spending weeks on one game as-is. This sounds like, at the very least, moving your units around will be more cumbersome than I already find it to be in Civ 4.

I play most games in about 2.5-4.5 hours. I'm hoping this doesn't end that.

James Woods: Oh that's fun. That sounds like you had a fun time. Where would I fit in with the fun time, huh? Where does James Woods fit into the fun?

Oh yeah. Interesting Panzer General comparison. People's General (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/People%27s_General) was awesome.

I just hope spearmen will still be able to destroy tanks like they should be. Stirring the pot...
