all quake games for only 7 bucks includes quake, quake II, quake III arena, with all addons
great deal if you don't have the disks
edit: you have to get the quake pack... it adds up the prices 19.99 then discounts 75% |

FYI, the game puts its saves in a different location depending on whether or not you're logged into GFWL. Of course you can still log into GFWL with the steam version if you want to...

Well, I am happy to get it and on top of that happy to attach to my steam account....
I am pissed cause I thought I bought Oblivion the other day with the fancy horse armour - and it turns out I didn't finish the transaction.....oh well...I am sure it will come up again.
AS IF I DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH TO PLAY ALREADY! hehehehe |

Don't think it will get cheaper with all of that DLC!
I already have the game and I am going to buy it - as I only have the core retail game. I'd advise against it. Of all the DLC, really only Broken Steel is worth it. (Point Lookout is okay, I guess.) Paying 25 bucks for Broken Steel is pretty steep.
so I bought it - and now I am wondering.....if I pull my save games and profile, if I can import or copy over so I don't have to play the game over....I am about half way through, but spent many hours exploring, etc......
Since it still uses games for windows, as long as I pull that data out before I install/fire up the steam version, I should be fine right? I'd imagine the Steam version saves in the same spot as the normal version, so if you just disconnect/terminate that GfWL shit, save your game, then switch to the Steam version, you should be just fine.
Btw, I don't know if FOSE works with the Steam version, and most good mods require FOSE...

| I bought the whole dang enchilada for $69. Doom has given me no end of enjoyment over the years and I feel guilty that "copied that floppy" from a friend back in 94. |

I already have the game and I am going to buy it - as I only have the core retail game. Considering that, if you owned the regular game, the DLCs would be $10 a piece, it's a pretty good deal.
Got this deal last time (see Bat's link), and I'm glad they brought it back. If you're on the fence, you might want to snag it quickly, as last time they ran out of cd keys and some people had to wait a day or two to play, once they purchased the game.

| Meh on price of Fallout 3. The startout price of 50 dollars is inflated, so half off isn't as great as it sounds. |

Just a heads up- there a ton of good sales at gamersgate and getgames.
I picked up Alpha Protocol at Get Games and a few others at GamersGate. |
