Gratuitous Mac Battles

Cliffski’s Blog has word from Positech that the Mac edition of Gratuitous Space Battles is complete. Word is: "At last, you get to blow up spaceships with the approval of Steve Jobs. We wouldn’t do anything without the approval of Steve would we?" The Mac edition and a playable demo for the space strategy game are available on Red Marble Games.

I tried this game (on PC). Didn't like it. Actually, I think I tried it twice, but I forgot about trying it the first time.. then the next time, I was like, "wait, this feels familiar..."

Gave it a decent shot--I wanted to like it--but it's just not my cuppatea. I think what it's missing is called "fun."

Fun means different things to different people you know.

I know. And that's what I mean. It just wasn't fun to me.
