GRIN Vets Form New Studio

Former members of closed Swedish developer GRIN have formed a new development studio called Whiteout, reports GamesIndustry.biz (registration required), saying they already have a game in development using Crytek's CryENGINE 3. "We've got some very exciting concepts under development," says Whiteout co-founder Joel Fagerlund. "We are currently working on a bigger project in Cry Engine 3, and thanks to the excellent technology and support from Crytek, we have been able to carefully handcraft a playable prototype that will knock your socks off."

thats the one! did you play the full version? didnt it have online play? i had a macintosh version of the game.

Sure did, it was alright, though the missions got a bit frustrating towards the end with the difficult battles that would totally mooch off your health followed by some silly boss. Multiplayer was just standard deathmatch and team deathmatch, you'd probably have a real hard time finding other players unless you get a group together to play.
