Guild Wars 2 Ranger Details

The Guild Wars 2 Website introduces the Ranger, another of the classes in Guild Wars 2, ArenaNet's upcoming MMORPG. They describe the class, and the stable of pets that can help the ranger lead the way (hooah!). On a related note, there's a Ranger interview on PC Gamer where they chat with Eric Flannum about the class.

I REALLY, REALLY, no REALLY hope this is getting Tim Cain RPGLove. He is working SECRETLY on some mmog, but having him at NCSoft and Leon at Blizzard, could be amazing leap forward for the RPG gaming industry.

Ok so you have 3 hunters doing barrage which destroys anything that runs into it, but takes 2 pets roughly 5-6 hits to kill? Are they high level characters in a low level area or what? Granted it looks great (it's all about selling the class), but can we expect anything like this once the game is released?

Fantastic videos. It makes me want to have a Ranger in Guild Wars 2, even if it isn't one of my favorite classes in the original GW.
