Everyone should get Beat Hazard.

Agreed. I picked it up during the sale and I'm having a ton of fun with it.

It takes a lot of skill to play. Be sure to play on Insane when you unlock it. The game gets super fun at that point.

It's funny that you mention that, since I started playing on Insane yesterday. Getting the daredevil bonus becomes a lot harder.

You attend cool LAN parties.

Offer them to play Metal Drift too, that would be a riot.

Metal Drift is awesome, but I got it recently and almost never see anyone playing. It's disappointing.

The game deserves a lot more love to be honest. I hate seeing Indie devs produce a game that have a great idea and provide a great game with all the features we're used to only to fail because almost nobody knows about the game.

I've mentioned it before on Blues, posted it to the never clicked LAN party page, and here it is less than 24 hours after MPcon 25 ended.

That game didn't register any kind of beat or pattern regardless of what song or genre I picked. Not so mention it is liking looking directly into lasers it is so bright and flashy. It made me queasy, a first for a video game. It's even worse than Geometry Wars.

Oh, that's weak. Yeah, I did notice that the ship's laser was changing but I assumed it was more for effect than anything. It didn't really stand out. Well, that's disappointing that the only rhythm matching part of the game is the gun. And that doesn't sound like a LAN party, more like a LAN warehouse. I was fine after I stopped playing, your friend was not a very bright bulb to try the game though, it's probably the strongest strobe effect on the market, haha. Anyway, definately didn't buy it after the demo. Killing Floor however, looks badass.

Were you aware that it is the ship's laser that reacts to the music?

I was at a LAN party with 300 people and just 6 or so playing at once was strobing the whole event it seemed. My friend who once had an epileptic seizure bravely/stupidly played it for a while but was fine.

Killing floor, that game is just printing money, cause I'm sure it was developed at a low cost since it was a mod at first.

It's a great game though, it may have awful production values but damn is the game fun as hell.
