Pre-purchases of the Resurgence Pack for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 are 10% off on Steam between now and the July 5 launch of the DLC. Word is: "The Modern Warfare 2 Resurgence Pack will deliver five incredible new multiplayer maps. Take the action to exciting new locations, then battle across legendary landscapes from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare."

Sadly like the last map pack, the majority of PC gamers will bitch and complain about the price but then turn around and still buy it. I also find it a joke that you get to save a whole 1.49 for pre-purchasing it. I myself will continue to play online games like TF2 and BFBC2 that do not charge for additional MP maps.

Infinity Ward/Activision can take this map pack, and the one(s) before it and shove it up there greedy A$$e$. Top selling game of all time and they want to charge for the DLC map packs! This isn't XBox you greedy pricks!! They need to take lessons from other developers/publishers (Valve, DICE/EA, and id/EA, etc.) that don’t charge for DLC/map packs. They just go against the grain of game developer/publisher etiquette……PRICKS!!! I just hope the greedy bastards don’t set precedence for other developers/publishers (2K Games – Bioshock 2).

You'd think with a new 15 dollar map pack that they would at least take a casual interest in somehow blocking hacked clients from running as 'servers' which do thinks like give players that join full xp to level to 70. You'd think, but you'd be wrong.
