So why has the 2nd generation been called "3G" then? It's clear that Apple wants to confuse the people by making them believe it offers festures which are in fact not included.

False marketing at it's best and yet nobody can do anything against it, typical Apple.

It's the 4th generation of the iPhone I would assume. Original, 3G, 3GS, 4G.

Why do they keep calling it "iPhone 4G"? It's a 3G device! Apple is as always at least 6 months behind.

Verizon adopted the $350 early term fee from AT&T didn't they? Or was it the other way around? Regardless, Verizon will change its policy too, but possibly offering an unlimited plan for an extra $50/mo or some shit. I hope not, but if history is any lesson...

The real god in this country is MONEY.

Are people just morons. AT&T is going to make a billion extra dollars on the 10% of users that use more then 2 gigs. No unlimited plan is going to really bite them in the butt. Buying an iPhone = idiot in my book. Might as well give them your bank account now.

So the Motorola Droid is the last smartphone to ever have a physical keyboard?

Got mine back in November on release day and I'm still extremely happy with it. Don't know how I ever lived without a smart phone to browse the web throughout the day.
