This. Far Cry was simply a better game in every respect except for graphics. The story was more interesting, the action was more interesting, the stealth was more interesting, the enemies were more interesting, the characters were more interesting.
And even in Far Cry the story sucked, the stealth sucked, the enemies sucked and the characters sucked. That's how sucky Crysis was!
And indeed.. I too concider it not much more than a Benchmark program.
I mean.. Crysis 1 realllly sucked. I also spat on the fact that when you pulled the trigger once (even if it was silenced, atleast that's what my memory tells me) every enemy in a 30 mile radius knew your >>>EXACT<<< location.
A few nice things I've heard so far about Crysis 2:
1. There's a stealth-system worthy of the word Stealth.
You can sneak up to people and perform a silent take-down action.
2. You can now combine Nano-powers.
Example: You can combine speed with strength to make far leaps.
3. The aliens are again the main focus of the combat & story.
Oh wait... that's not good at all. |

| I just hope that the gameplay will be more entertaining. Most of the suite modes were simply unrelevant. Speed? Strength? Invisibilty was almost always the best pick. |

I kinda think we'll get a very dumbed down new CryEngine 3 without any physics. Yes, I know they've said they'll make the PC version better, but so did tons of developers who actually didn't. |

Please tell me I'm correct when I say that nobody in the world can possibly get excited by this ugly and pointless teaser-thing.
They have a fucklot of ingame footage from this game already, anyway.
I've never had much respect for teasers, but this one sucks so bad I can get more excited by the sly smile of the poker pop-up man. |
