Mhh, Alpha Protocol showed that timed dialog is not only possible but makes sure you play your character and not always only the "best" option. Imo a good design decision and fun.

Kajetan I hope you are wrong I really do because I would hate a console controller style interface for Withcer 2.

Care to elaborate? I haven't been following this game much though I know it's supposed to be multiplatform.

I'm looking forward to this game but not to the Quick Time Events. I mean, really... who thought it was a good idea to put QTEs (or minigames) into an RPG? Baffles the mind, it does.

I was surprised how well The Witcher was received by the mass crowd because it had allot of flaws and you needed to be forgiving (at least at the first 2 chapters) not to bash this game to pieces. Don't get me wrong -- it didn't take me too long before I literally LOVED the game, I'm just surprised that the game was received as well as it did by the crowd of people who often seem to live only to bitch about stuff.
These tumbler representations were much much more memorable and fun than say, lockpicking is in Dragon Age where you level up a skill and either unlock something or not with one click.

Then you would like to know, that The Witcher 2 is probably to become a watered down console port. There are several previews, which indicate nothing good for the PC crowd.

I really can not wait for this game. The first one was the most refreshing PC game I have played in years with the loads of watered down console ports pouring on the PC gaming scene.
